Izzy’s Room

Izzy’s Room is a project and gallery space showing selected works from Arnie Zimmerman’s 40+ year oeuvre as well as new works and solo/collaborative projects.

Arnie and his wife, Ann Rosenthal, created Izzy’s Room to honor their daughter, a photographer, writer, teacher, and intrepid explorer whose life was defined by compassion, love, laughter, and curiosity. Izzy was teaching English to public school students in Thailand when she was killed by a reckless driver just weeks before her 24th birthday in 2016. She died doing what she loved. With Izzy’s Room, we celebrate her passions.
